It's official - wow, we actually have some official things happening this year. Quick Update.
Farm meetings for this spring, until we can get out to the farm, are the 3rd Saturday of each month, at 10 a.m. at the Palumbo's home. We've had great attendance the past few months and we haven't even started our membership drive.
There's an even higher sense of excitement and anticipation this year - we're getting ready EARLY for the 2009 season, we have great leadership -Scott Parsons is putting together our growing plan - Suzanne Keller is drafting a membership proposal and doing our accounting - and Vicki, Nan, and Lars are joining Scott and Ruth on an actual Steering Committee. Wow.
We're meeting this morning - I was just checking out where we are with this site and with lakechelanlocal.info. I'll being making updates over the next week so we're ready to go for the 2009 season.
Next EVENT! First Friday - March 6th in downtown Chelan. We're having a table and sharing Solid Rock Farm with our community. Come be a part. Thanks to Vicki for organizing this.
