Solid Rock Farm

Local Food for the Chelan Valley

Thanks to the high school we have 100 new cabbages planted, trying to get a start in the windy weather of this season. Next workday is this Saturday at 9 a.m.

WORKSHED:
John Brownfield was asking if we’re making any progress on locating a workshed that can be placed on the farm. Which brings up our wishlist we had displayed at Earth Day.

WISH LIST THOUGHTS:
1. Joan, will you send out the wish list from Earth Day so we can all take a look at it? Amongst our membership we may have direct connections to some of the items.
2. Roberta, perhaps you can post the wish list items on our website?
3. Paul, are you willing to do a Second Cup of Coffee appearance soon to tell about the farm progress and share our list?

Thank you Umberto, for tilling up the section of land beneath the Lavender! Sounds like we’ll have some blueberries there, and Zach, there’s room for your gourds and flax.

It’s so beautiful to see this project coming together so quickly and so well. Thanks to everyone for everything that’s taking place.

Love,
Lars

Next workday is this Saturday at 9 a.m.
