Confession, I’m a bad guy for recipes, since I never write anything down. Someone shared this with our family when I was a kid. It’s the sesame oil that makes this taste great.
Asian Cabbage Salad (All amounts are guesses)
½ cabbage chopped
Seasonings:
Some sesame oil (maybe 3 tbsp)
Some Vinegar (maybe 3 tbsp)
Some Sugar (or maple syrup) (enough to take the edge off the vinegar, maybe 2 tbsp?)
Some pepper (maybe 1 tsp)
1 Package of Ramen Seasoning
1 Package of Crushed Ramen Noodles.
Directions: Chop the cabbage, mix the seasonings, then taste and see if its good. Otherwise add more sugar or vinegar. Then mix into the chopped cabbage. You can serve it right away but its fine to stay in the refrigerator for awhile. Add the crushed noodles just before serving.
